My painting "Be Still My Heart" is a local Osoyoos Indian Band horse. I photographed him about 2 years ago with his herd grazing at the spot that is now known as Area 27 Race Track. He would graze, then stop to look around, always keeping a watchful eye on his herd. I fell in love with him instantly! Such a handsome stallion, and the heart on his forehead was just magical! I will definitely be painting him again in the future! Painting is currently on display/sale at Leza Macdonald's Art Gallery 6250 Main street, Oliver BC.
